Products Risk Analysis
- Our products may contain small parts or accessories that are a choking hazard if swallowed.
- Where parts need to be glued into position the process used may introduce the risk of glue fumes, dependent upon the type of glue used
- They may contain sharp points or edges (model spears or swords) that could cause minor puncture wounds if handled carelessly
- We cannot always guarantee the age, manufacturer, or consistency of the metal used in our products. Some older products may contain lead alloys or other harmful metals (such as cadmium or antimony), which may be hazardous if handled, or lead-based paint chips are ingested. Exposure to lead can cause serious health issues, particularly in, children or pregnant women.
- When painting the products we sell, users may expose themselves to harmful fumes, solvents, or chemicals used in the process, and could cause respiratory problems, skin irritation or long-term health effects if inhaled or ingested.
- When working on some of the metal, MDF, or resin products that we sell users need to be aware that dust produced from sanding or filing may pose a risk to the lungs if inhaled
- Some of the products we sell are relatively heavier than others, and if dropped they may cause injury or damage to surfaces
